I’ve seen plenty of dumb Craigslist ads before, but I’ve never seen a seller who didn’t even know what kind of transmission the car has.

Maybe they were looking for a handy on casual encounters and clicked the wrong link?

If you put it in D then it's an automatic. If you use the + and - then it's a manual. Derrrrrrr. It's both an automatic AND a manual. Gosh. You people don't know anything.

Every dealer ad seems to suffer from this problem.

To be fair, you do have to manually shift it into park, reverse, and drive.

I feel a bit dumb for not knowing they had a V6. Not as dumb as the seller but pretty dumb.
Might be time to give these a second look!

It’s a pretty cool little V6, too. It was a joint project between Suzuki and Mazda, and it’s roughly based on the Mazda KL-series V6, IIRC. They’re very lightweight (sub-300lb, I believe) and are actually used as engines in aircraft. They can supposedly be built for pretty big power but information is kind of scarce on that sort of thing.
